    Hi,

I'm looking for a S-Video to Component connector.....does anybody know if there are any converters available ? Do they exist...this link shows sort of what I'm looking for http://www.bizrate.com/buy/noncat_prod_details__oid--332783107.html .....got a feeling these are not available !!

I'm looking for a straight converter rather then a video switcher if possible.

Basically its to convert my s-video (from my HTPC) into component (Which goes to my amp) and the amp will send this signal to the projector. I'm just trying to avoid running a 10 metre s-video from the projector to the amp !! Thats if I can !!

Can anyone help.... :smashin: :thumbsdow

    Thanks

    Rocky

    Many Thanks

Why would you want such a mangled video single arriving at your Projector???

As richard_plump says surely you must have something better than S-Video coming out of the PC - and best to connect the PC Direct to a suitable Input on your Projector.

Again as richard_plump says if you have to switch everything via your AV Receiver best to install a Graphics card in your PC that can Output YUV 'Component'.

    Best regards

    Joe
