I've just taken delivery of my new philips plasma and one of the inputs is s-video,my old philips crt only had scart so as I had a sony davs500 and this had svideo output I bought a decent s-video to scart lead from an online retailer(I think it cost about £15 to £20).
My question is would I be better off sticking with the s-video to scart or getting a decent s-video lead such as this one?

Sorry , forgot to mention I don't think the dvd does rgb scart as when I plug it in av1 the picture is in black and white and a bit fuzzy. Also there is no option in the dvd menu to turn rgb on or off.
