Morning all - my problem: I'm trying to connect my portable DVD player (Panasonic) to my new 23" Humax LCD.
The best option was to use s-vid from the player to the scart socket on the screen. I've bought the approriate cable from maplin.
I can get the picture fine...however, its black & white !!
Having looked at the menu's on both devices, and the manual's, I can see no obvious tweaks I can make.
Sound is fine too (stereo phono cables came with the maplin cable).
Could it be that my screen doesn't like SVid through the scart connection ?
Should I swap the cable for an S-vid to S-vid cable (the screen has a dedicated s-vid socket).
(just to pre-empt any q's: I can't use component cable, or scart to scart)
