Well I took the plunge today and got my AT100E from Sound and Vision. Whilst it works ok on the composite video input from my Scan SC-2000, it won't display anything other than a distorted greyscale image when I connect via S-Video.

I have tried input from s-video output from my PC and that works fine, so I suspect it is the Scan.

Can anyone suggest what might be the problem.

I don't know anything about the Scan DVD player, but if the AE100 is OK from another source as you say, it must be the player itself.

    Moving to DVD player area.
