Can anyone advise of the best cable i can buy. I want to use a s-video+2 rca from dvd player to my tv, my tv has a scart socket not rgb in ext-2. Ext-1 is rgb and my sky box is plugged in their.
I have used a scart-scart lead from dvd to tv in ext-2 but find the picture quality poor, will have the s-video to scart cable improve picture
    Hope you can advise

I assume that your DVD player has only one scart socket otherwise you could connect the Sky box to the dvd player then onwards to the TV so that both could make use of the single RGB scart socket on the TV

S-Video will be much better than composite video, you need to make sure your scart will accept s-video otherwise you will get a black and white picture.

Two cables you could use are the Profigold PGV632 or IXOS 137AV.
