S-video=Black and white?

    Hi

    I have a Creative Dx3R Decoder card plugged into my tv using a 4-pin s-video to scart cable, the picture looks great except the picture is in black and white.Any idea why this is?
    Using a composite cable the picture is in colour.

    I think i know the problem, these cables are directional? :eek:

    The support for svideo in scart is a fudge, normally you have to tell the tv to expect svideo it doesn't autoswitch like with RGB. The luma goes over the composite pin which it why it is b&w
