S/PDIF module

    I need to plug one of these into my motherboard to get digital audio out . . . any idea where i can get one from?

    Usually if your motherboard support digital out, it would come with it.

    i've got a S/PDIF output on my asus motherboard but was never able to get sound to output from it though. good luck

    Unfortunately, despite Asus providing a spdif header on many of their motherboards, they see no reason to supply a spdif module as standard and they can be very difficult to source.

    However, Kustom PCs have stock here

    AOpen have the same "non-supply" policy but getting hold of a module is usually much easier. Again, Kustom come up trumps here

    Go direct to Asus UK for theirs. Cost a fiver each for my Asus A7N8X Deluxe including postage! Quick delivery if they have them in stock as well.
