Moving over to a gaming laptop to replace both my desktop and old gaming laptop rather than have a pair of machines - I have huge number of PCs and servers now in my home office, its getting a little out of hand :D

All come with invoices and in warranty as all purchased October 2017, graphics card I purchased earlier but believe is a 3 year warranty.

SOLD - EVGA Geforce 1070 FTW ACX 3.0 (boxed) - never used for mining or overclocked - May 2017 from Amazon Warehouse- £290
SOLD - Samsung 960 EVO m.2 250GB and EKWB Cooling plate (unboxed) - bought October 2017 (currently can't find invoice but looking in my email :D ) - £55

    Samsung 850 EVO SATA 250GB (boxed) - October 2017 from PCWorld Cardiff - £50

I also have a BeQuiet Dark Pro 900 case, again boxed but has had a modification to the bottom fan grills to clear some space for a water pump. Beast of a case, tempered glass panel, RGB lighting and even has a wireless phone charger built in. Black and Orange finish, will also include matching orange/black GPU, motherboard PSU extensions- £100

Sorry - motherboard, CPU and memory are going to my brother, he just decided to build a PC this afternoon

Prices include tracked/signed service and can also meet in person either near Bath (evenings/weekends) or Cardiff (most weekdays during work hours - potentially can deliver in between Bath and Cardiff too during commute).
All items will be sent in the original packing or securely packed if unboxed.

I wasn't going to upgrade my cpu until Zen 2 comes out but I might be persuaded in the 1700 if the price is right...

How about a cheeky £200 for both the 1700 and 16gm ram? :)

Interested in the M.2 and 1070 - would you take £330 delivered for both together?

Also - question about the case, how many 3.5" hard drives can it take?

    Thanks

Hi, the case takes 5 or 7 IIRC - there is basically enough trays for 5 3.5" which come with the case provided but there is space for another 2x3.5" cage. The case is very modular in its design, you can take out the entire drive cage - as I did as I am using SSDs only - flip the motherboard orientation. The cages will house multiple 2.5 s too, 10 IIRC.
Edit - just checked - I have 7 3.5" drive cages with it.

I am happy with your offer for the graphics card and M2 as I can save a little on postage putting them together.

Thanks for checking - I think I'll leave the case as although it would fit what I have now, it doesn't leave me room for expansion.

Let's take the M.2 and 1070 to PM, let me know what your preferred payment method is, happy with BACS if that works for you

Hi, has the 1700 been overclocked and if so what clocks and volts?

Also were you able to run the ram at 3200mhz ram with the 1700 without any problems?

    Thanks

Hi mate, I never really did anything with overclocking as the processor did everything I wanted and seemed a lot of messing to get a tiny performance boost which I wouldn't have really felt in my day to day usage.
RAM originally wouldn't go to its clock speed on the earlier BIOS despite me picking the memory specifically because it was on the approved AMD list. The later BIOS (think it was the F20 update) allowed it to run a the XMP profile no bother.

If the 960 EVO hasn't sold yet I'll take it.
