I voted for "I'm really confused" which is a new option I just added ;) :D

I do have a couple of Bryan Adams CDs though and I loved 'Baby When You're Gone' that he did with Mel C (where 'C' stands for 'council estate').

and the problem with council estate is ? :nono:

Bryan Adams for me

Reckless, was a great album - Run to you and summer of '69 stand out.

Not a big fan of Bryan Adams

But WTF is Ryan Adams?

Are they related? If not, what is the point of this poll:confused:

WTF is Ryan Adams?
Formerly lead singer with Whiskeytown. Responsible for one of the best albums of last year 'Gold'.
You should check him out.
Also called Chad Kroeger a TOTAL PENIS SAUSAGE ! which is nice.
I wouldn't have been quite so polite.

Hi minimad,
I like Bryan Adams fine enough, but everytime I tell someone they should buy Ryan Adams album, they almost always mix them up.
Ryan Adams is really brilliant.

A couple of the Whiskeytown albums are a bit 'hick country&western'

Heresy :nono:

To be fair, they remind me more of a Nashville-ised Waterboys...it's probably the fiddle. 'Strangers Almanac' and 'Pneumonia' are great albums.

Don't judge 'Heartbreaker' too quickly as 'hick country&western' - it certainly has that sound but it's a stunning album. 'My Winding Wheel', 'Oh My Sweet Carolina', 'Come Pick Me Up' (I'll stop there before I list the entire album) are all bonafide classics.

'Gold' is more rock'n'roll and probably more accessible (I don't think so but it's what a lot my friends have said)

'Demolition' more a mixture of the two but worth the price of admission for 'Dear Chicago' alone.

Let is know what you think.

Have you heard Rural Free Delivery? It takes the Hicksters Achievement Award

Er, no.

I have been warned off it on more than one occasion. I'll check out the samples tonight. Thing with Country or alt-Country -- when it's bad, it's REALLY bad :)

Ryan Adams all the way, great sausage rock!:smoke: I have GOLD ON SACD and HEARTBREAKER on vinyl. Bryan Adams makes me sleepy...:boring:

I thought long and hard about this as I didn't want to make a rash descision. However, after carefull consideration, they are both gaylords.

Used to like Bran Adams in younger years, but liked the dance remix track more recently.
Ryan Adams does pretty fine stuff, of note, I love his Nuclear track.
