Whichever I go for will be 90% time on films and 10% music, but I would prefer one with more musical abilities than the latest surround format (so long as it can pick up the prologic II from the gamecube). I'm guessing the denon wins here but can someone confirm between the two or suggest a better option? I have read the rxv-450 review but can't find the denon at the moment. Best price I can find for either is £220-230, the yamaha was a lot cheaper at empire direct until the last weekend. pants.

    thanks
