I picked up a Yamaha 420 and am thinking I will be better off with S-video switching, and see some good prices on the Sony 1075, should I upgrade to the 1075, hunt around for an 520 which includes S-video or if that fails go towards the 620 or new 730. I want 2nd room capability. Minimum 3 S-video inputs
In Canadian dollars I am looking at:
    RX-V420 $ 400 (Demo)
    RX-V520 $ ??? maybe aroung 599
RX-V730 $ 999 and maybe get 100-150 off of that
    STRDE-1070 $ 699
    STRDE-975 $ 550

    Thanks anyone

Just FYI - the STRDE 1075 & STRDB 1070 are slightly different machines in the Sony range. The STRDE 1075 is the top of their Standard range. The STRDB 1070 is the top of their QS series of machines wnhich basically means it has stricter quality tolerances, better build quality and a few extra features.

The price on Crtuchfield (you'd be able ti find cheaper simply by doing a search in this forum) are $499 & $699 respectively.

Hope you didn't already know all this.
    Good luck
