I have a Yamaha RX-V 1065 that has been working great till now.
The receiver power up like usually main zone and also zone 2 but after start playing from any source that cut's off the sound while in the right corner of the display where show "speakers icons" that displays how many speakers are playing, that also disappear and after few seconds that will display again and the sound comes back!
- I have removed it of my system and tried at bench with the front aux input and only one speaker in different channels output and it still does the same.
- all channel has output and also all channels cut's out
-power supply seems to work fine, relays stays on, but every time that the speakers icons disappear from the display the sound will stop and comes back when the speakers icons re appear at the display.
- while there is out put the sound is crystal clear
any ideas?
thanks

I'd suggest the receiver has a fault, maybe a dry joint somewhere that causes the intermittent behaviour?

Try using the net radio and listening via headphones. This will not resolve the issue, but may give you a better idea as to what the issue relates to? All-in-all, you need to have someone look at the receiver and it needs repairing as opposed to you simply altering any settings.
