What is a "new 'SWR enhancement', which is included in the Palladian Models. This new technology dampens electrical standing wave reflections, letting you hear even more ambience in your recording."?

It adds £600 to the price of a mains cable, so it must be good! :zonked:

I recon the “SWR Enhancement” is one of these http://www.power-wrap.co.uk/ or a bunch of different sized ferrites, but I suspect it’s actually like the Power Wrap (but surrounded by expensive foam).

Anyone cut one of these £600 lumps open to have a look?

I think the powerwrap is a ferrite core, but long and in spiral.

But haven't seen one, except on the web; so pure speculation on my part.

cybersoga: that's why Russ Andrews is a millionaire! Fair play to the bloke.
