I've heard good things about this film, plus I like Bill Murray and the Director. I'm considering the Criterian disc which is a little pricey but seems pretty good.

What do others think about this film.

Buy it now it is my advice! I was like you once..... I had never seen it, I'd heard good things about it and I was a fan of Bill Murrey...... I took the gamble and went for the Criterion disc and was SO glad I did. The film is a classic and the disc is one of Criterion's very best. Need I say more?

I reviewed it HERE if you need any more talking into it :D

I liked it too :) I have the R4. Not sure which I preferred, Royal Tenenbaums or Rushmore... probably just as good as each other although Rushmore does have a certain charm to it...

Yeah, I agrre totally with Tee. There is nothing not to like about this film. The Acting is superb, the story is very black and very funny. I prefer it to the Royal Tenenbaums. Bottle Rocket is also great.
