Running Speaker Wires Next to One Another

Are there any issues with this?

I've just run the speaker cables for my left and right speakers so they are crammed in some trunking running parallel to one another. Perhaps it's in my head but something doesn't sound right. :-s

Very unlikely. Have you checked the phasing of the connections. If it's wrong, the sound might be "woolly".

What is the amp and speakers?

Yep checked that and all is fine.

The timing just seems a little off so I thought I'd ask if it could be to do with the cables as they are right beside one another

I am feeling a little bunged up today so perhaps that's it.

I have run speaker cables next to each other in trunking before with no issues so I can not see this being your problem.
