Just after some advice on the settings for running it in. I haven't changed anything and the mode it is on is Cinema just wondered if this was correct to run it in?

Any help would be great as i don't want to ruin my new tv

    Thanks,

I've just got the 50PZ70 and am using it on Cinema mode with no further adjustments. I may may however drop the contrast and brightness settings another 10% to 40% moving forwards to be on the safe side for the first 200hrs.

Cinema mode for me and regularly changing channels etc. I will do this for 200 hrs and then thats it. The general advice on here is to run in.

    Hi,
I just took delivery of my th42pz70 last Saturday. As above, I was given advice to keep the contrast & brightness low initially.
I am very pleased with it. At the moment have only seen DVD played on a cheap player through a scart & the picture is amazing, so I am eager to upgrade my source & connections to watch some HD material!

    Thanks everyone,

I have changed the mode to Cinema so this should help.

have brought the panasonic DMR-EZ27EB dvd recorder as well as this is supposed to upscale to 1080p not sure if it is or not but a standard dvd looks good

    Thanks,
    Steve12
