Before finding this forum I have cheerfully ran my PV500 on Dynamic picture mode for 2 weeks. Why should I be worried, if at all?

'tis done. Is this **** in the manual, this 'running in' period?
Not that I've read it of course, but I should have been told with big stickers or something :)

No its not in the manual :thumbsdow The last page of the manual does warn of static image retention if images left on too long but does not give a time scale.
trying to avoid DOGS is almost impossible. I have noticed the SkyOne and E4 ones are far less bright than many and was wondering if this is a nod towards screen burn avoidance. I must say I watch a lot less News 24 these days due to SB paranoia.
