A question to all you B&W Nautilus 805 Owners.

How long did it take for them to fully run in? I have got the 805 Sig's, So I would have thought the same Run in time would apply.

How much have you got them Toed in. I have found that they don't need to be toed in very much in my room. I have got them almost firing straight down the room. But what about you?

Well after 87 views and no replys, I am wondering what HIFI you people have got?
Could it be that I am far abbove you and your low life HIFI? It is looking that way, with no replys.
Are my speakers above you all?

Get a life and stop being jealous:mad:

    Oh *** mate.

People have read the thread and thought. Gee, I don't know how long to tell this bloke so I won't bother saying anything. Chill out, this is NOT the way to get answers.

mark ... maybe if you learned some manners, accepted that this is a voluntary information service and that no-one is forced to reply ... then maybe you might get more out of the place ... infact generally you get as much out of (any) forum as you put in - which from looking at your original post is nothing at all. Your question is even answered by B&W on their website ... did you bother to even look??

They're above me :( ...but 50-100 hours of modest volume and varied use is a typical run-in time. That's not to say speakers will not continue to run-in beyond this point, but any changes, in my experience are hard to actually hear.

How much do you want for your hamster? I want to exploit it and make millions of pounds running a one-hamster circus.

let's be grateful that the vast majority of forum members are above making arrogant statements like this.

    What hi fi:
As with all speakers, the B&Ws work best when thoroughly run-in. That said, the revised metal-dome tweeter used in the signature versions of the Nautilus speakers provides far smoother sound than the 'lesser' Nautilus 805s, even when you listen to them straight out of the box.
A considerable degree of toe-in is also worthwhile.
