After some advice :lease:

Just doing a refurb on a 1930's house, looking to run the following etc

Sky HD, Tv and maybe Freesat using Sky dish

Is is going to be better to run cables direct from dish etc and connect to the box or freesat tv rather then using faceplates

Whould I lose any signal is used faceplates, faceplates would look better then the cable coing out of the wall.

:hiya:

General guidance for DSat cables is to run direct from dish - box with no breaks. Less chance for errors in the signal.
Why not use a blank plate , drill a couple of holes and fit some grommets ?

Thanks for the reply, that's what I was thinking. Won't look as nice but better signal is best.

I will direct from dish to Sky HD box or back of Tv for freesat.

:D
