QD is exciting but for movies I think the only main advantage is color volume. We have seen Panasonic and Sony use WOLED with in house processing to drive it brighter and more colour.
1000 nits at 2% window is very good but the Sony from last year got to 1000 in 2% window also.
I think QD OLED will get brighter as it gets mature but for now I think WOLED with Evo wont be a huge step down.
