I bought the R1 six months ago and it was only in Dolby Surround. AFAIK only the Norwegian R2 is in 5.1

The R4, Australian disc which I own, has a 5.1 option, as well as being uncut. The 5.1 option dosen't make much of a difference to be honest, when compared with the also available 2.0 option.

Midlander, please could you check the credits at the end of the film - I remember a Dolby symbol but it looked a bit odd. (it's at the beginning)

    cheers

Erm- it isn't exactly a sonic fest of a film anyway is it? I really enjoyed it but honestly don't feel that a 5.1 or 6.1 transfer would have made a massive difference to such a dialogue driven work. Also if it means that more time and effort goes into a film that does need an excellent surround score then I'm happy to keep it as it is.

Can't sorry. I didn't think it was a keeper and sold it.
