    Hi all,

Just bought this from CD-Wow. They were out of stock when I ordered, and the disc was despatched in a couple of days when new stock had arrived.

The disc will not play on my DVD player (multi region pioneer). I have played R3 discs before and this is the first disc which has not played.:(

I also tried the disc in my pc, via DVD Genie and this would not play the disc either... even more strange the disc was not even registering as being in the drive??

I contacted CD-Wow who issued a new copy but the same problems have occured.

I am going to try the disc at a friends house at the weekend to check on his machine...

Has anyone else had this problem. I was hoping that they had just received a duff batch of the film??

    Thanks

Cheers for the info, was hoping that the batch at CD-Wow may be faulty as my pc won't even register the disc.

It looks like the disc will not work with my player :-(

This is the first disc to do this ever - will have to get a different region now.

Just a quick question. What model Pioneer do you have and how old is it?

I've got a dv-444 and a few months ago I had problems with one of my R1 discs, got the disk changed - same problem. Anyway problem got worse over a period of weeks until I couldn't play any R1 discs and only a few R2. Turns out it's quite a common problem with the laser pick-up on the Pioneer. Took it back and they repaired it for me (thankfully I was just within my 12 month warranty).

Could be you have the same problem?

adamp - I have had my pioneer DV355 (I think this is correct) for about 2.5 - 3 years now. This is the first and hopefully last disc that won't play. Thankfully this player has never given me any problems.

    John,

Hopefully it's not the same problem I had then.

Thought I'd let you know anyway just in case any other discs start playing up.
