    Hello,

has anyone compared these two subwoofers (Ruark Vita 50 and the Velodyne CHT8)? Is the Ruark a good buy considering it is a fair bit cheaper than the Velodyne (and I have a small front room 3 x 4 m)?

Comments? Suggestions? It'll be hooked up to a Marantz SR5400, no speakers bought yet...

    Thanks :)

If your thinking about the cht8 the cht10 isn't that much more, its taking your budget a bit higher but its better to spend more now than later.I wouldn't worry to much about the size of the room if you can fit the sub in your ok,my room is about the same size as yours.

I'd go for 10" also. Some people even need 2x12" in that size of room.. :suicide:

I was thinking of the Ruark because it's £130 inc delivery, whereas the others are £190+

Can the Ruark cut the mustard at that price?
