Does anybody remember this speaker? I have been offered some but they are a long way away and I only have a photo. The fronts seem to have a full length black panel in addition to the grille. Can anybody tell me if this comes off to reveal a veneer front or is it fixed in place?

cant remember but I have a feeling they were a bit shrill at the top end and lacked bass extension, bit like the Ruark swordsman. Probably ok for classical, opera and folk provided you arent using something like a Naim or exposure. They work best with valve amps in my opinion.

OK, thanks. I've kind of decided to give it a miss as they are quite old and I can't demo them. I think I'll try some Prelude 2's instead.
