Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:
    1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
    2) Name and address including postcode
    3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.
Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

    Notanthony,
Your link is for a pair of Prologue One, whilst the proposed ones are the Prologue 2.

    Thanks very much

I spoke to Alan at Ruark, and he could not even remember what was the difference between 1 and 2.

I assumed, possibly mistakenly it seems, that the price might be similar.

Would be interested to know if there ARE significant differences

I do not know the difference.
One would assume that updated speaker is always better sounding than the older ones.
Prologues One usually sell around £150-£200.
Prologues 2 are quite rare to come across.
Will they be 2 times better than the Ones? I do not think so.

    Hello,
The speakers are light oak and, as I'm not desperate to sell them, the price can drop only slightly to £375. I suspect we are too far apart on price not to mention distance. However if you want to follow-up, I will arrange some pictures.
    Thanks Peter.

I have just put up for sale a pair of Natural Cherry, they are Prologue One's not sure if MkI or II.

As you can see someone has had finger trouble however they sound great, very heavyly loaded, took a sack barrow to get the box in from the car !!!

The cabinets have various scratches but still I think they are nice looking speaker.

Grills, spikes and all original packaging are included, no manual if there was such a thing.

Was looking for £250, not too far from you if you want to come and listen, they were bought for my 2nd system but they are way too good for it at this point in time.

Thanks very much for your reply

I have not yet made up my mind between Prologue 1 or 2.

I see what you mean by "finger trouble".

    Thanks anyway
