Morning!
just a quick question if i may, i'm currently putting a quote together for a job, it looks like we'll be using control4 for the automation & rako for the lighting, i was thinking of just using the inbuilt IR routing for amp control (it will be in Node0) but wondered if there were any recomendations for amp's with rs232 - this is something i know just a tiny little bit about, do amp's have bidirectional control so the amp status could be viewed on the touch screen's?
i have a price point of around 5/600 to budget with, but if you tell me xyz amp costs 1k but is the proverbial dogs doodles then it may be something we could progress with.
we are going to sub in the alarm side of things but i'm not sure about cctv, i had a demo on some cctv cameras the other day costing 1800 each, full ptz and amazing zoom abilities, while i think this is a bit too much for this client (in terms of function and cost) i wondered if anyone had any thoughts on camera's which they have used with great success without busting the bank.
thanks in advance,
Jonathan ;o)
