    ...into vacuum cleaners!

Unbelievable, I though they were taking the pi** when they were advertising mono VCRs in their "home cinema" section and now this.

Will they be selling pressure cookers and sandwich toasters next?

I had a chucke too when I saw this. I cant see this helping RS with their reputation as a good AV store!

If it wasnt for their cheap prices, RS would be an absolute joke to the industry.

It must be their sense of humour which makes them the UK's biggest AV retailer.

Richer Sounds has done a good job of carving its image as a 'hi-fi' retailer to those who are looking at the mid-fi market. It may not cater to the audiophiles but for those looking to buy an AV-reciever for £200 or a pair of speakers for £100 its the place to go. (especially if like me you check their site regularly to see what is on offer!).

The Gale speakers for a start are very under-rated.

They don't sell vacuum cleaners, its says so on the website.

    QUOTE From rs site

"No - we don't sell vacuum cleaners, but this was an offer we couldn't refuse. This compact vacuum fits perfectly into a small space - so lose the broom and buy one today!"

I'm confused  is it for sale or not.

You can even upgrade the power lead to give even greater suction. :D
