    Hi there,

I have bought the following SD panel to overcome the time until a true 1920x1080 panel comes out (the 30" Apple display is too small for me) but have found out that it doesn't have a RS-232 control port which I need for my control system.

Do anyone know if there is a possibility to add it or a mod or any other posibility of dual way control? The last resort would be the IR control with some discrete codes (at least selection of aspect ratio, component/s-video input selection and power on/off -- I am using it as a monitor device only).

    TH-42PA50E
    SD Panel (852 x 480 Pixel)
    HDTV-compatible 576i, 720p, 1080i (50, 60 Hz), no HDMI connection
    PC-input (VGA): No

    Mucho thanks,
    Bob.
