On the look out for a new tv and am leaning towards an Rptv.

What are these like for "normal" telly viewing as opposed to dvd only viewing?

T.V is always through Sky digital as analogue reception here is very poor :(

Obviously I've never had an rptv before and none of my friends have one for me to get a good look at so I'm after some reviews/opinions.

    Any reccomendations?

    Thanks.

Yep!!...the toshiba RPs are good.I,ve got a 43" Toshiba .As Johndon said the picture is excellent in all lighting. Can be a bit of a pain with anything that reflects on the screen.
The better the scource , the better the image.Dvd, and digital are faultless!

Thanks all looks like I'll have to go and see if I can get a demo from a decent store.

I know to avoid the dixons/curry's etc but what about John Lewis?? Are their telly's normally setup well??

HOF?? Any other "commonplace" stores that can do a decent demo?

    Thanks again
