I have just ordered a Toshiba RPTV and as this will be my first RP I would appreciate any advice from RP owners as to achieve the best picture quality available.

Don't know if you have Digital TV and/or DVD, but if you do always use good quality SCART leads and always use Component/RGB settings.
Composite looks AWFUL, whilst S-Video is a good compromise.

Leave the TV on for about 45 mins before making any adjustments.

    Are you colour blind?
    (Most males are!)

I am on reds and greens and really struggled with the convergence settings, so it helps if you have someone to assist or even just to give a second opinion.

Not much more I can think of really.

Be prepared to be gobsmacked at the pic quality on DVD, but only if you use RGB.

    Enjoy.
