I want to get an SDI modded player and these two machines are recommended for their video quality. Does anybody know how good the audio playback (for films not CD) is on them?

The RP-91 is a more substantial machine but does this equate to better audio quality?

    Thanks for any info.

    Richard.

Does no-one know what these two players sound like?
I know both these players are discontinued but they are still available SDI modified mail order.

Any information about these players would be appreciated.

Rbunn, I have found them fine for audio. They are able to internally reequalise and my customers seem to prefer this setting. Sure they are not as good as very high end players but again your Amp and Speakers play a large part.

Additionally I can now source them SDI enabled at lower prices than first thought so may be worth a PM. Finally the machines I supply can be configured for audio delay to cure any lipsync you might see in a scaler.

    Regards Neil.
