    Hi guys

I have a 360 and a Linksys WRT54G router.... it all works fine, apart from one thing. I have to have the PC booted in order for the 360 to access Xbox Live.
Which isn't particularily convenient as the PC is upstairs.
I am sure I never had to do this before, but last week I set up the router with my new PC and had to reset the router and since then I have noticed this problem.
Anyone know why this is happening? is there an option I need to choose in the router settings?

    cheers for any help

    That does sound very odd.

Is your router set as the DHCP server? That could explain why you need the PC as it might try to set the IP address for you 360.

    Just a thought

Yeah its likely to be an ip address thing. There's no reason at all why your PC needs to be on.
