Question Roth 2LX Soundbar and TiVo loudness issue

Novice Member
Hi all

Newbie on here and need a little help, I have just set up a Roth 2LX Soundbar with my Virginmedia TiVo box. I had it through optical audio cable but the sound setting at 1 click above silent was reading 79 decibels! Then connected soundbar through RCA on My Panosonic TV, this helped but it is still loud even on lowest level above silent, when I stream music through Bluetooth on the Soundbar the sound levels are brilliant and as you would expect, as soundboards don't tend to normalise audio I can then assume it is the TiVo box that is outputting high volume levels? (HDMI connected to TV btw) is there any way to change this?
