Has anyone had a good listen to the Rotel RSP-1066?

The price (around £1000) for the specs look like it may be worth an audition.

    Cheers,
    Liam

Thanks for the link. I've had a quick read, and liked this guy's sig:
    :D

I'll have a better look later on.

I remember a thread about 6 months ago where quite a few people said they were looking for a processor around £1000. There seems to be a gap in the market that the Rotel fills nicely. In an ideal world, I'd like an Arcam AV8, but in the real world... the Rotel looks like it's worth a listen to.

    Cheers,
    Liam

Liam do a search on rotel, i did this a week or so ago and found a thread from October this year about the processor, and if i remember rightly it was about 4 pages long.

Wanting to have a listen to this soon also, I think Craig is getting some stock soon.

I see from the Home Theater Forum that there is a bug with the bass management that is due to be fixed in a new firmware release.

Except for that, it's a tempting option. Dunno whether I'd be best off keeping my Alpha 10s, or selling the lot and getting a 5-channel power amp... hmmm...
