    hi all,

i have a small room for home cinema which makes it hard to put in a couch and armchairs side by side. if i were to put the tv on the long side of the wall is there any disadvantage or has anyone any tips for speaker positioning?

    cheers,
    cf

This used to be the recommended layout for hi-fi speakers and there's certianly nothing 'wrong' with it. Suck and see.

If its 'wider than it is long' doesn't this mean the 'wide' bit is actually the long side?
