I am buying a projector and am a bit worried about my room size.

I am thinking of getting the Sony VPL-HS50. The distance from projector to screen will be about 11-12 foot, is this far enough away?

I have looked on various sites and am getting a lot of conflicting information.

    Thanks,

    Russell

    Hi Russell,

There aren't too many rooms smaller than mine, you will be fine. Projector to screen is approx 11ft, and the room is approx 7ft 6in wide

We have an HS50 projecting a 90" diagonal screen from 10' (lens to screen). It looks great. Indeed, the abilility to throw this kind of size image from this distance was one of the reasons for choosing this projector. Hope this helps! :)
