TV Entertainer Ronnie Corbett Dies Aged 85
Bust got the news flash
Been very entertaining over the years growing up way him watch the duo and him on the big chair monologues which were hit and miss
A great entertainer and, when partnered with the other Ronnie, one of the greatest double acts of recent times.
Very sad to hear this. Really enjoyed his gentle humour.
Aw sad news. He was a lovely gentleman.
I really enjoyed his stint in Extras.

2016 is turning into some year for the passing of some great entertainers, another sad loss and another gone from many years of entertaining me as a child. I absolutely loved watching The Two Ronnies RIP
Poor Ronnie C always got the short end of the stick (mind you he was small).
I remember one of the first times I saw him as a the working class in the line up with John Cheese and Ronnie Barker which probably was the reason the two Ronnie's got together.
I wish they repeat those short films By the Sea and The Picnic.
Here that three man line up in 2000 with Stephen Fry taking the John Cleese part.

Sad news,another great entertainer gone.
A real shame, always remember when growing up that you looked out for Morecombe & Wise & The Two Ronnies for the Xmas specials. He was a great all round entertainer & he will be sorely missed. He will take his place in his special chair sat next to all our other comedy greats
Not the best image quality but both are available on youtube. Watched them again last year and still as funny as ever (especially 'By The Sea'). Timeless comedy.
Rest In Peace Mr Corbett.
Very sad to hear of Ronnie's passing. Despite his small stature he was a giant of British comedy - one of those very few people who made the world a brighter place, simply by being in it. RIP.
Edit: Just been reading some of his best one liners on a news website. Had me howling with laughter. Not a bad legacy, laughter, is it ? Not bad at all....

Although four candles is the one they always quote the duck one my favorite.
With Morcoame and Wise, I rate the Two Ronies the best comedy duo's we had in the UK.

I remember RC telling a joke about the Bahamas, he said it doesn't matter if you don't like the joke you can admire the scenery.
There were two programs on the BBC last night about Ronnie the One Show devoted all the program to him and they rang Bruce Forsyth up and he did not seem too well he was telling a tale and he seemed a bit mixed up. As he finished Strictly I hope his health better than what it sounded to be.
I watched The One Show on iPlayer for this, but how bloody lousy were those stand-in presenters?
Adil should stick to Citizen Khan, even though its last series was rubbish (nice to see the original older daughter working for AC-12 on Line of Duty last night), and Fern should stick to interviewing z-listers on ITV5.
Bruce then David Attenborough, all the greats from my childhood [emoji22]
Davids a national treasure.
There not many left of the old school (non actors) I can think of, Des, Tarby and Doddy.
Separate names with a comma.
