Every now and then my Freeview TV picture rolls very quickly. This seems to happen mostly where there is a very bright white background (e.g. every time when someone exits the Big Brother house into the white corridor). Is this a common problem with Digital TV generally or is it just Freeview or is it my Sony Freeview box ?

Has anyone had similar problems or does anyone know the cause?

deff.not a problem with digital TV! Rolling picture is usually a sync problem, could be box or TV,have you tried the box on another TV?

Difficult to test on another TV as it's an intermittent problem. I thought it may have been a Digital problem as I don't get the rolling when viewing the analogue picture. The Freeview box is connected via an RGB scart switch box so I'll have a go connecting it direct to the TV. Are there any other Sony VTX-D800 owners out there who have experienced the same problem?

Problem solved - dodgy scart switch unit - nothing to do with the signal quality or the Sony Freeview box.
