I have just received the Soundbridge M2000 and it Rocks!
We have tried to use slimserver to play music files from out main pc upstairs but they dont play. It shows you now playing but no sound is coming out. We have put older versions on as requested but still no luck.
    Itunes plays ok.

What is the best way to play my music collection from my pc upstairs?
With Itunes it only seems to work on my laptop if I "import" files from the pc upstairs (this is where all my music is stored). Is this the only way to do it?

    Your help would be appreciated

    TIA

Sorted it out now. I did a reset and it worked great. I have now installed the beta software which works with the newer version of slimserver.
Soundbridge is great. Nice big screen with visualizations etc. Pity I won't be eating for the next 3 months to pay for it!
