Does anyone know where I can buy Roger Waters - Live in the Flesh DVD?
Saw it playing at a Hi-fi Show and it blew me away. (only saw the Money track though)

I haven't been able to find it in my local MVC (which has most things) or any other local shop.
I would rather buy it from a shop as opposed to an online retailer.

Also any ideas on Dave Gilmour's live at the Albert Hall DVD?

    Thanks

Was very cheap on CD-Wow a while ago, might still be there?

I saw the show in the flesh (haha) back in Wembley last year, and it was bloody brilliant, esp. when Nick Mason came on and played for a bit :)

In the Fleash is a top, top DVD. If you have a decent screen (projector is best  ) and a reasonable 5.1 system to go with it, then its almost like being there. I say almost 'cos I was at the Manchester Evening news show :D

Why not buy it on line?? Amazon will stock it. Hell, you cant buy anything in the shops these days :thumbsdow having said that, I bought my copy from Virgin.

    Thanks for the advice guys.

I'll have a look around a larger Vigin Store.
I guess I'll also take a look at some of the online retailers.

Amazon is an easy company to deal with if your not sure about buying over the internet. There are cheaper companies, which are mentioned in this forum if you do a search.

Amazon keep you updated as to the order progress, they have never made a mistake with any orders, they arrive in special strong cardboard packaging and are sent via parcel force.

Outstanding DVD.....which my local MVC has in stock.

The guitar playing from Snowy White and especially Doyle Bramhall is superb.

Saw it in Virgin for £23!

The only reason for not buying online is that I am in the middle of moving house, so I didn't want the hassle of getting it sent to the wrong address.

    £10.99 sounds very good.

Didn't realise it could be sent to an address other than the car holders address.
Its been a while since I ordered from Play.com so if this is the case I'll be ordering tomorrow!

    Cheers

I got mine from Play, when it first came out.

Never had a problem with Play - good prices, quick delivery and much too easy to order from ;-)

Superb DVD on an 82" screen and a cool 5.1 system !!

Well I ordered mine on Sunday afternoon with play.com

It was surprisingly easy to setup an account.
As its my first order I keep checking the progress. How sad...
Hopefully will be with me tomorrow.

I know exactly what you mean by being too easy to order from.
I started browsing items, thinking arhhh that would be nice and thats a good deal
    2 for £16......

Had to become strict with myself!:)

    Well the disk arrived yesterday.
I watched it from start to end in one go and I have to say that it was even better that I had hoped.
Excellent value what with it being a two and a half hour concert with additional footage as extras.
Thanks to all for pushing me to buy it online

Hi all, I was also disappointed with the Dave Gilmour DVD, but I'd like to see Pulse or Delicate Sound of Thunder out on DVD. RW's in the flesh is great but I still think Gilmour is better than Snowy White and Doyle Bramhall put together. (That should put the cat amongst the pigeons) :D

No 'cat' from my perspective. As the guitarist in Pink Floyd, there is probably no one better, but as a solo artist its a different story. Would Snowy or Doyle be any better as solo artists ? I doubt it.

Gilmour was PFs guitarist and its a pity that it cant continue. But RW is charismatic in his own right and is able to carry on regardless of his past associations and although the other guitarists will never live up to Gilmour as a PF replacement, they certainly dont detract from RWs performance.

Nor here.....Gilmour was the original, and anyone else playing his work,no matter how good, still isn't the original....just a pity his live DVD(which I've also bought)didnt have a bit more of his electric guitar work on it.

Nice to see though that people like Roger Waters and Eric Clapton rate Bramhall so highly, and good to see Snowy White playing so well.
