Just bought Who Framed Roger Rabbit in 4K on Amazon Prime and it looks great, but all dialogue is unusually quiet, while sound effects are blaringly loud anyone else noticed this?

I found a temporary workaround - if I switch my Apple TV to only output stereo then my amp gives it the Pro-Logic II treatment and the dialogue sounds balanced (but I’m losing the superior quality of Dolby Digital Plus)

Is it only that title? On my a/v kit after any automatic setup I always have to tweak the centre channel level to get dialogue clearer. If it’s only that title, then there’s your problem, but if you’re having the issue on other stuff then it’s not an Amazon issue per se.

Roger Rabbit is the only title, others are fine, and the HD version of RR is fine.
