Rockstar brings GTA Radio Stations to Spotify and iTunes

Anyone that's fallen in love with one of the later GTA games will know just how much the, often very funny, radio stations bring to the ambience of the game. Some, like me, might have even bought a box-set, or two, along the way but CDs are rapidly becoming yesterdays news and don't really cut it for the mobile generation. To wit, Rockstar is rolling their entire radio station collections in to digital copies available through Spotify and iTunes.

Rockstar describe the move as a service for all GTA fans with tracks from all the music stations featured in Grand Theft Auto IV, Episodes from Liberty City, San Andreas, Vice City and more. Naturally they will making money from the venture.

R* say to note that not all the music from these stations yet exist on either Spotify or iTunes, but they're hoping to be able to add the original songs where possible soon.

There's 19 diverse music stations to choose from with everything from modern East Coast hip-hop to Eastern European pop. These playlists also include the additions in The Lost and Damned as well as the club anthems and rare disco classics featured in The Ballad of Gay Tony.
