    Don't know about you lot, but i'm livin , eatin, sleepin Rock Band even when i'm not home.

    I felt the same after a solid week of hammering GH2 for the 1st time.

    Every single piece of music i hear, whether it be on the Radio or a TV advert, the drums seem to stand out so much more than before.

    I can't stop workin out in my head how the tune would play on RB including the bass pedal.

    It's like it's helped me understand the instrument on a much deeper level.

    Do you know what i mean????? or has my addiction level gone too far!!!!

    :confused::confused::confused::confused:

    The same thing happens to me. Decided to listen to a bit of bob marley earlier and closed my eyes and all i could see was the drums from rock band. I then smiled, im pleasantly addicted.

    I was listening to the Iron Maiden album Fear Of The Dark in the car recently and was imagining how amazing Be Quick Or Be Dead would be on Rock Band :). I was doing the same guess work on what the guitar solo chart would be like :D.

    Hell yeah, me too. Just about every piece of music I listen to makes me wonder about it in Rock Band, from folk/country music of Nanci Griffith through Billy Falcon that I'm listening to at the moment to Epica that was just on. Everything. I would have said Guitar Hero too, but the Rock Band concept of 'performing' full albums has me utterly captivated at the moment having recently tried this out with Boston's first album (bar the final song which is missing).

    I also quite often see streaming notes in my imagination.

    I can't believe that anybody that really likes music wouldn't like this type of game to some degree, even if it's not to their usual musical tastes.

    Is the Boston stuff worth getting then? I've heard some of their stuff before, but must say it's not really stood out for me, but does it work in RB well then?

    I think the Boston stuff is fantastic, but then I'm already a big fan. I've only played the full set on guitar but I was having a great time trying Foreplay/Long Time on Medium drums before a gaming night with some friends last night. I totally recommend their purchase, but I guess it depends on your 'fan-dom'.

    Well prior to my RB arriving I decided to listen to some of the artists I was more unfamiliar with. Boston being one of them, and its made me really appreciate the band. Love all of their first album to be honest.

    Next is working my way through the Rush and Outlaws back catalogue.
