Hello,
I’m facing what I think it’s a very odd situation and I’m looking for anyone that may have experienced the same:
Plenty of coverage, tried all the resets and steps advised by O2 to no avail.
Important notes:
1) the same phone with a Lebara SIM in it, connects to a carrier within seconds. My O2 SIM, in an iPhone X, still gets “no service”.
2) I travelled in Italy twice, in April 2021 and in February 2022, both times same issue.
3) I travelled to the Dominican Republic, no problem whatsoever with roaming.
4) While in Italy, if close to the Swiss border the phone connects to the swiss carrier instantly.
O2 support swears they checked everything that can check and all is fine. It seems that my SIM/contract is barred in Italy only but I never heard of such thing.
Any idea anyone?
