RME to 7 Balanced Actives plus Sub - What would I need?

    Only half considering this but:-

    I'm going to be buying some Active Speakers that take a balanced input and would like to consider an RME soundcard as a replacement for my processor.

    What should be on my shopping RME shopping list? Which cards would I need to get 7 balanced channels out plus sub? CAN you do this yet?

    I would also like to know this.

    I'm thinking Denon A11 and HTPC to Zektor multi-channel audio switch then to bluesky 6.5's.

    You would need the 9632 (obviously) and the four channel balanced output board giving a total of 6 channel. To my knowledge you cant do 7.1 through the 9632. I dont think you can diasy-chain the output boards. I'd call RME and ask direct, or use their tech support (nntp) forums, they are pretty active on there.
