    Does anyone know what the RJ11 imput is actually for?

    The imput is on the back of a subwoofer, bowers and wilkins PV1! im intruiged what you would plug a phone cable into a subwoofer for!

    Ok an RJ11 is basically a socket which is used in say Telecomms ie Modems / Phones or comms socket for communicateing with equipment, but obviously you was not very specific in your original post so therefore did not know it was for the new B&W sub.
    Have you looked on their web site to see the specs because i would not know what they are useing that for?

    After looking at there website it would seem that they must provide a special lead as it states speaker level so it's just a way they are useing to provide connectivity to your amps speaker terminals.
    Quite clever really and also very neat & tidy
