Ok, so my Seleco 350+ is in my sitting room bouncing off the chimney breast which is a whitish magenta colour. The picture I'm getting is great, but I can't help but thinking that it could be better off a white wall. I've messed with the white balance to compensate. Should I risk upsetting the good woman by painting the chimney breast white? (I know she'll say no if I ask her - so if I do it, it'll have to be unannounced when she's not around  )

Also if I do do it, what (cheapish) paint solution is there?
