All i want is a screen that is flat witout ANY ripples. I am not that fussed on the actually pictue quality of the screen but more concerned with the flatness. Cheers in advance.

the basic slimline one seems the one to go for. For a high gain screen you really have to be sitting in front of it (which doesnt work for me). Looks like the regular 16x9.

I have a feeling he may have asked for extra black at the top of the screen coz that looks like more than 45cm....

There is supposed to be 45cm of black at the top of the screen, but to be honest that looks like more than 45cm to me. Thats all I was wondering...

    Explicitlyrics,

I have a DRH slimline high power screen with 75cm of drop rather than the standard 45cm. You will need to place your order by phone as the website does not encompass non standard requirements but they will do it for an extra £20. I'm very happy with my high power screen and don't agree with the member who said that they are only good for dedicated cinema rooms. In fact on of the good things about them is that they give you extra power when there is light contamination i.e light curtains. See my reply to the post on Da-Lite high power screens for a better explanation of the pros and cons (It's under the projection screen category, where this whole thread should be!).

    Hope this is useful.

Like Claude said, i had to ask for another 45cm. I have 90cm in total of Black drop. Had to pay £20 extra though..but worth it ! :smashin:

    Cheers
