Went to a car show at ast Mersea on Sunday and saw a lot of nice shiny metal, plus one not so shiny that is yet to be done, a Ford - something :(

Nice one - like the fact that you went for a detail shot here, and the texture of the rust looks great.

    Hi Bill
Yes I like this one too - I love the fact that you've treated it in a similar way to a new car in terms of angle, lighting and processing. That definitely adds another layer of depth. Nice work.

I know it's from a car but can't help thinking of some long gone mystical god's headgear, or something from DC comics! Love the texture in this shot, and black and white is very timeless feeling.

Looked at the other two you posted in Photo Sharing and thought - good subject, but could do with a better angle - which you promptly nailed in the entry shot. Lovely.

This is really beautiful and one of my top favourites in this months competition. The lighting and texture are spot on.

My favourite entry so far - the lighting really brings out the texture of the rust. Great shot.
