RIP Joe Barbera

    Noticed there was no mention on these forums (could be wrong), of the passing way of Joseph Barbera (95) yesterday (18th). Most of us grew up watching his cartoons, and gave us so much enjoyment.

    With William Hanna (Hana died in 2001), he formed Hanna-Barbera, which made The Flinstones, Tom and Jerry, Johnny Quest, The Jetsons, Yogi Bear and others.
    Joe Barbera died of natural causes in his home, his wife by his side.

    when I was a nipper, I always thought it was some woman called Hannah Barbara who made all those cartoons :D

    one of the last legendary studio names - RIP

    Your not the only one to mistake that name for a womans', me too, easily made.
